As Monotype’s Chief Financial Officer, Jaco Uys brings over 20 years of global finance and operational leadership experience for a range of businesses.

Prior to joining Monotype in 2020, Jaco served as CFO for a series of PE-backed companies including The Nature’s Bounty Company, where he managed over $2B in P&L as the CFO for CPG Americas. His career also includes earlier, extended time at Deloitte, IBM, and United Technologies.

Throughout his career, and especially at Monotype, Jaco has proven himself to be a highly valuable strategic business partner, adept at collaborating with CEOs, PE investors, Lenders, and leadership teams to provide strategic direction consistent with short- and long-term objectives for value creation and return optimization. Jaco is also a CPA and holds an MBA from Columbia University.
