Meanwhile, our team will run eligibility checks based on the information you provide.
Once approved, you will receive a confirmation of your successful enrollment as a Monotype Agency Partner and your trial account will be converted to a full access account valid for 1 year.

Frequently Asked Questions

How and where can fonts be used as a part of the Agency Pitch Agreement?

Anywhere. You can use these fonts in prototypes of websites, apps, ads, and ebooks, and share them with your client. When your client chooses to go live they simply purchase a commercial license for the creative your agency created.

For the avoidance of doubt, you are not licensed to deploy the fonts externally other than to your client and prospects for pitching purposes. The fonts will be licensed to you for internal use alone.

Can web fonts be published on websites and in HTML5 digital ads as a part of this agreement?

Yes. You may use web fonts from the Monotype Fonts library for your own website. Additionally, web fonts may be published on websites and in digital ads only if they are used in your design mock-ups and live demos for the purpose of pitching to your clients.

Web fonts may not be used as a part of this agreement to:

Publish on live websites owned by your clients
Used in digital ads for live or upcoming campaigns by your clients

I submitted the application form. What can I expect as the next steps?

Awesome! Thank you for your interest in becoming a Monotype Agency Partner. As a result of submitting the application form, you are now automatically enrolled in our Agency Partners eligibility-check process. Here’s what to expect next:

Our Agency Partnerships team will look into the details you provided while submitting the application form.
You will be invited by our Agency Partnerships team to a 4-week trial of Monotype Fonts allowing you to experience all of our type library and collaboration features, while our team carries out the necessary eligibility checks.
Upon passing all required eligibility checks your Monotype Fonts trial will be converted to a full-access account with a validity of 1 year for free.

How is the 1-year validity calculated?

Great question! In general, for eligible accounts, the 1-year validity is calculated from the day the application form is submitted. This is true if you have an ongoing Monotype Fonts trial account, or if you registered for one in the past which has since expired.

However, if you don’t currently have an active Monotype Fonts trial account, validity will be calculated from the day you first activate your trial account from our invitation email.

How long does the partnership enrollment process take?

The partnership enrollment process, with all due eligibility checks, takes roughly 2 to 4 weeks.

I already have an active Monotype Fonts trial account. How can I apply for this program?

My Monotype Fonts trial has already expired. How can I apply for this program?
